    Fumoto Valve

OK, I am going to get the fumoto valve (F105) but can anyone here tell me which type they prefer better? The regular one or the one with the nipple? I did a search but really couldn't find a concensus on it. I am afraid the nipple will hang too low but then again I like being able to attach a hose to it and direct the oil.

Also, I want one for my wife's 2004- Mazda 3. I know she needs a F106 according to the website but do not know if she needs one of the adapters they list. Anyone here have a fumoto valve on thier 2004 mazda 3? I emailed fumoto but havent heard back from them yet.

    Nipple vs. none --

with a nipple, if you have the car jacked up or on ramps -- connect a hose and have the oil drain directly into a suitable container. This eliminates the messy step of pouring the oil from a drain pan to a suitable container.
