    Why didn't i read this thread yesterday??

    Just dropped the car off and the dealership for its 60k service. $580 and thats just the start, i know i need new brakes.

    Ohh well its only money right?

    But after this im done with the dealership.

    what do they do in the 60k service. I called and asked for a price and they siad 750. i said peace out girl scout. so im doing it my self. I already changed my plugs, so what else do i need to do

    I was wondering, is it ok if you bring your car in for a checkup that isn't where you brought your car from? Will they treat your car the same as if you brought it from them? Are the cost the same, what about warranty coverage, in general, does it matter which dealership you bring your car too?
