The metal crush washer should be replaced every time the plug is removed. Replace it and see if that fixes your leak. Alternatively http://www.fumotovalve.com/

If you do get the fumoto valve, be sure to tighten it to spec and not over or under tighten it... I currently have a leak and am still struggling to fix it... I may try to make my own washer because the supplied one doesn't seem to form a seal very well.

the drain plug washer needs to be replaced every time you change your oil. i made the mistake once by reusing the washer and it leaked a lot.

What cars are these? I've never worked on a car that didn't use some sort of sealing washer on the drain plug. Heck, my lawnmower has one!
