    Brake Pads question....

    i just purchased a pair of axxis brake pads but they need to know whether our cars have 1 pin or 2?? so i need to know on a 02 wrx wag do we have 1 pin or 2? first time changing the pads :-X

    I don't know what you mean about pins.. But here is a great tutorial I used to change my pads. (Thanks pace.) First time I did mine it only took about an hour and a half and I had to redo one (forgot backing)....

    i have no clue either the person i bought the pads off of on ebay says that i had to respond with my model year and number of pins??? i was like wtf?!?!?1

    some of the wrx's have a different design for the brake pads??? Maybe hes referring to the retaining clip??? I have no idea though.

    this is a chart from stoptech that i use for non local customers to figure out what pad they need, rears are all the same for the 02-03, 04-up is different, but go here and you can either ask them to go to same website or so on and let them know which one because we sell the AXXIS Ultimates and Project Mu and Endless, all need to know specifically which one, there are 3 or 4 versions, damn subaru changed alot, even the new 04-up changed year to year

    oh btw: if your getting metal masters or anything below ultimates, dont bother

    thanks alot man...im just going to email them the site whats the big difference between metal masters, ultimates etc??

    metal master are like stock or not worse brakes that general auto shops or pep boy ish places sell, they suck, ultimes are their performance line that are much much better, its worth it
