    Question Electrical/Lighting Problems.

Okay, just got the car back from the body shop, and when I got home I started having issues with the parking lights. I shut the car off completely, keys out, lights off, but the parking lights remain on. Crazy, and I dont know what to do, so if anyone knows what might be going on or has any suggestions I would like to know. It sucks having to disconnect the battery every time I'm not using the car.

This is actually an often overlooked mistake.

If you are sitting in the driver seat, look just above the steering wheel. Then look back a few inches past the wheel, on the top of the steering column. In the center just before the speedometer there is a black, wide (but low-profile) rocker switch. Try hitting the switch. If I remember correctly, if you see a dark red line, it means they should be on. If you see the white (light) emblem on the switch, the park lights should be off.

Let me know if this helps.

Yup, that'd be the fix. I did that to myself one time.

Yeah that switch sucks... and its wired in series with the rear lights so if you remove it, you break the connection and have no tail lights. Sucks, eh? I was prototyping a gauge pod and they had removed that switch... one night my friend noticed i had no taillights and that was the cause .
