    gotta change the 02 sensor, help!

    so i boguht an 02 sensor and i see its a clip, wires, then the sensor, so do i have to take my d/p off? or do i just plug out and plug in? i want to take the right steps so i dont break the sensor, oh ya and imma be using lifts so this is whyi ask if i gotta take the d/p off?
    a step would be nice

    You should be able to replace with the d/p still in place. You're talking about the rear sensor, right?

    yeah when i was changing my downpipe i had to take of fthe 02 sensor but you can easily do it with the downpipe still in tact you will have to take out the heat shield though because with that still on it will be difficult seeing what you are doing...

    wait are there 2 o2 sensor where the downpipe is? cause my 02 sensor is located diffrent because of my gospeed downpipe i can just do it from under the car right? also i dont havea torque or anything so imam hand tighten it, shoudl i wait for the car to cool down? is it that big of a deal?

    There's only one in the d/p, the front sensor is in the passenger side manifold.

    If you don't wait for your car to cool you're going to burn yourself...
