    License plate light bulb issues?

My coworker yesterday pointed out that both of my license plate lights were out..he hit the bumper and the left one came on. The right one is still out though.

Im not sure if theyre burned as I havent had a chance to figure it out yet, but Im wondering has anyone had any problems with this before?

Is the install straight forward screwdriver job or do I need to take the bumper off?

    Thanks,
    Chris

yea seems like alot of wrx's have blown licence plate lights, i count em as i see em pass by on DPA. Just need a phips head screw driver. Two screws for each light, and watch out for the ruber gasket in between the clear cover and the socket, easy to lose.

Yea, you could probably get a ticket for it. One of mine went out, so I replaced them. Real cheap, and easy. I swapped both because they were different brightnesses.

Just replaced 2 on my wife's 2.5RS. It's pretty easy. A subie mechanic (friend of mine) says it happens all the time from shutting the trunk lid - they get loose.
