Actually, just one will suffice. I jacked up just one rear side and installed mine. Piece of cake.

ahh..... Well, you want 4, especially if you've never done it before. I guess a big part of the question is.... ahh... so, how big is your waist size, you know? It can be done with two certainly, but just try to get those two as high as you can.

I thought two would do it. Much of the catback is rearward.

My waist size is Ö hopefully not an issue. I guess some anti-seize compound on the bolts during re-assembly would be a good idea for the inevitable future DP install.

    Thanks for the replies!

you can get by with 2.

4 is recommended but at minimum chock the front wheels on both sides if you only use the stands in teh rear.

90% of the hard work is located under the middle of the car where the catback mates to the stock.

i did mine just backed onto some ramps but there wasnt a ton of room and im a fit guy.

i wouldnt go buy an extra 2 but if you have all 4 just do it right and be safe with 4

    have fun and enjoy!

    Yep........

I did mine with it up all the way around, But two will do.

Do yourself a BIG favor and leave the JACK under the cross brace or somewhere in case the stands slipped or some other freak thing.

    Saftey is NO option bro.

Hey, thanks for all of the replies. The Cobb catback arrives Monday. The wait for next weekend to install it will be excruciating!

One more question please: Is a helper a must or can one person do the install?

Iíve got it installed with help from a guy I work with. He has a stock STi and wanted to see what the install would be like. It could have been done solo, but was easier with some help. I backed up onto the ramps to raise the car.

Thanks again for all of the replies!
