well, i was coming home from college the other day, and i just happened to run over something, which turned out to be a part of a screwdriver or something. so, after changing the doughnut, i decided to look for a new tire.
so after calling subaru and some other bridgestone dealers, the re92 is not manufactured anymore, so they would have to special order them. then they would have to shave them down.
i decided to get new tires, and i was told that i need new ones all the way around then. no mismatching, otherwise it will throw the puter off and possibly burn out your diffs.
needless to say, 500 smackers later, i have new tires and handles a lot better. pretty expensive lesson. the continental conticontacts are pretty good so far. hope they will hold up thru the winter.
