I'll save you the trouble of doing a search. It takes a little less than the one quart bottle. So all you need to do the rear is just one bottle. You will fill it till it starts to seep out from the fill hole. Remember to use some RTV, black preferably. This is to ensure a nice leakproof seal. Get yourself a 1/2 inch breaker bar to remove the plug. Remove the fill plug first, then the drain plug. You can use synthetic in the rear if you want. I think that takes care of all the questions...

Like he said...The top plug is the full line, so fill it 'till it dribbles out.

Capacity is .8 US qt. (.6 Imp. qt.)

OK, I'm an idiot. What's RTV, and what do you use to get the plugs out? A breaker bar? I'm pretty competent as far as being handy, but I've never heard of that.

A breaker bar is just a very long wrench/ratchet. Used to give you more leverage to break free a super torqued fastner. RTV is "silicone". You should use something to seal the threads and so that the plug does not pack out over time and cause a leak. Black RTV is best as it does not break down from the lube.

Thanks! So can the plugs be taken out by whatever lug fits around it?

Look at the drain and fill plugs on the rear diff. They should have a square hole. A 1/2 inch socket drive fits in there perfectly.
