    holy s*&t dude that is the funniest thing i have ever read about changing oil you're lucky you didn't put the transmission oil into the engine it self BTW not all transmission fluids are the same did you check what subaru recommends to put in???
    MY LUG NUTS NEED MORE TORQUE THAN YOUR HONDA MAKES!!!!

    Yup, I'm pretty sure everything was installed correctly, and I tightened it by hand at first (but I'm very weak ). I've done 2 oil changes before so the procedure is not new to me.
    clutch, shift, gas, clutch, shift, gas, shift, clutch, gas, clutch gas, shift... oops!

    i do my oil changes all the time and just tighten the filters by hand,and it doesn't have to be on there all that tight, I never had a leak. I tighten it so that next time i change it, i can always just use my hands to unscrew it as well, without any major effort. I always moisten the rubber gasket with some oil before i put the filter back in place.
