    Battery upkeep and maintenance?

What is the purpose of the six unscrewable dipsticks found on our OEM batteries?

Rumor has it that it's to test the electrolyte of the battery. What do you learn from reading it and how do you keep it serviced properly?

Why are there six sticks? Can't it be accomplished with just 1?

There's stuff you can use to dip in and test.

The main purpose is to top off the battery. The liquid level should reach down to the end of the plastic hanging down (supporting the covers). To top off you must use distilled water (or de-ionized).

By keeping the electrolyte at the proper level, battery performance is maintained

can you pour water in any of the 6 holes? or does it matter? or does it need to be done evenly?
