    What could be wrong?

My friend that i know has an 02 wrx. he hasn't started it in at least a month or two. I am going to be purchasing it in a week, and when he said you want to take it for a test drive i said sure. As i was driving it i tried to rev it high in first gear but the car started to stutter at about 5k. I tried again in second and the same thing happened again. The car almost stalled out one time two. This kid used to have a bigger turbo uppipe turbo back and a piggy back. He left in the car STI injectors and fuel pump. Do you guys think that it was the injectors causing this problem or was it something else?
