    OBD-2...standalone, Palm, or laptop?

I was thinking about getting myself a Palm, since I can get one with 8 MB of memory for only about $150 nowadays. I then thought "Hey, I can do OBD-2 stuff with it!" but when I looked it up, it's about $300! So then I thought...well, they sell standalone OBD-2 scanners for $150...but that's all they do. Then again, I could get a laptop which would be most useful and only about $100-150 for the software. Does anyone have experience with all of the above? Which seems to work the best?

I have seen a lot of OBD scanners and nothing even comes close to the DeltaDash.

I was expecting to see the cockpit of an airplane.

Anyway, I've had the same thoughts, Verdugo. The only difference is that I already own a Visor Prism, so I'd just have to buy the software/cable.
