Has Subaru taken care of A/C problems?

I see a lot of posts on 2002 WRX's having problems with the A/C cycling on and off, blowing cold then hot then cold. Has this problem been solved on newer models?

Every time the compressor kicks in it really takes a lot of power from the engine. That's probably what you're feeling.

Stage 4 might help. Ask MidKnight.

I use to have this problem, along with a clicking sound when the compressor clutch kicked in. Later the clicking sound turned into a squeeling sound. I tightened the belt for the A/C compressor and it solved the clicking, squeeling, and the hot and cold cycling. Just be sure you don't over tighten. =)
