OBD-2 Scanners

I am looking to purchase an OBD-2 sensor, seeing as how I get CEL's about every other month and the dealer is 50 miles away.

Anyone have any suggestions on which models are better? Which features to look for?

Sooo many options. First decide if you want to use a Palm or a laptop to do your logging and go from there. I use www.pocketlogger.com on my Palm but there are many other good options too. You could also get an AccessPort for your car, that has the ability to read CEL codes too

i got this one from checkers auto parts. it works great. only bad thing, you have to look the code up in a book. some of the more $$ ones display the actual code and the description.

Autozone carries one, But it is around $120-30.

HarborFrieght has a cheapie version that works pretty good for around $40-50
