Does anyone else have problems with their front driver and passenger door windows making noise? It seems like when the weather is cold, doesn't get very cold in So. Cal, my windows sqeaks when they are being rolled up and down. I brought this to the dealers attention, all they did was clean the window seals and told me it was dirt buildup. I am so tired of the noise, can someone help me out? As every year pass, the noise seems to get worse.![]()
Thanks, mine are starting to squeak also, didn't know it was common.Originally posted by AjIsDope

Yep. It sucks. Mine squeeks bad every time.![]()
Mine do it too, but the passenger one is way worse. It sounds like someone is peeling out when they go down, and it makes a cruch sound when they go up. Someone told me to just put some rain-x on the insides of the window where it touches and it should work. But wouldn't that stuff hurt the tint on the windows? ( It was sqeaking before the tint was installed.)
ohh yeah mine squeaks out the @$$. and the passenger one rolls down weird with a little limp in it. I'm going to go have it cheacked out before I break 36K

Castrol Accuvision, Rain-X, or a good glass wax like Autoglym, inside and out, problem solved, sometimes for a couple of months, sometimes for good.
Mine have not made any noise for over a year now.

Yup, I used rain-x and it has been at least 6 months and no more squeek. I would think the rain-x would have washed off by now but who knows.
I never thought of rain-x, I will give it a try..thanks for the advice. problem solved.
Hmmm.... interesting. I'll give it a try as well.![]()
