Brakes squeeeeal in reverse only.

Hey guys, so I have STI brembo's in front and thet stockers in the back on my 03 WRX. My brakes make a really loud sqeal, but only when I'm in reverse. So I had a local shop check it out, they took out the front pads and filed them a little around the edges. (I forgot what that process is called.) And for about 30 minutes it was all good, then it started up again. Could I need new pads?

I have 11,300 miles on the car, and the brembo's have only seen about 4k of these miles. Maybe the rear pads only?

the brembo's seem to squel in reverse when they are cold. Mine does this all the time in my sti

Most likely it is the rear pads. Want a quick fix? Go semi-fast in reverse and then STAND on the breaks. That should clear up the noise for a bit. (Make sure there are no obstacles behind you. )
