Weird smell

Somtimes when i get home and im lettin my car cool down i get this weird smell, its not a burning smell it almost smells like that new car smell, but when the fan comes on its pretty noticalbe,
my car only has 1500mi on it any ideas?? any else get this when there car was new, o also if the ac or heater is off its not as bad

yeah its weird, i thought maybe the clutch was very very slightly out of adjustment but i dont think it was that.

BTW, i dont know if you read it or wrong or if you were just tellin me, i have 1,500mi

My car used to sometimes smell like burning anti-freeze. Never seemed to get low at all so I didn't worry about it. It went away.

yeah that might be it, it seems to be going away slowly, so im not gonna worry.

Could be some mildew in the AC system....As often as possible keep the air intake set for external, not recirculate. This will really help keep the mildews away! Had a '02 PT cruiser that reeked when you first turned on the AC!!!!

if it smells like wet cardboard then its the recirculation of air ..

spray into the filter with Lysol Deodorizer with the FAN blowing or replace the filter

thats if we have a filter for it ? ( i had to do this on my previous car)

Well, i cant smell it from inside the car, but that does make sense about the mildew, i was thinking my brakes my be dragging a bit, cause when i come in from drving pretty hard, The disks are too hot to touch, im not pushin them that hard either.
