    Exhaust gasket???

I need some info on where to get a new exhaust gasket for an MRT exhaust, where the downpipe meets the modpipe. We took it off the other day and it was trashed.

Would autozone etc carry these or do i have to go call MRT??

    Thanks,
    -John

I believe any stock Subaru gasket will work. They are metal crush washer type and you should get new ones when doing an install of your exhaust.

You can call your local dealer to find some, or http://www.subaruparts.com to find them.

Great, thanks for the quick reply.

Also im wondering if i should change my upipe gaskets and the downpipe/turbo gasket. The new engine has about 5000km on it. Also it is the twinscroll setup so i doubt the subaru dealer will have those gaskets.

    Thanks,
    -John

I'm not sure about the STI engine and turbo, but I'd say you should change the gaskets anytime you change exhaust parts.

If you call up http://www.subaruparts.com , I'm sure they can help you find what you need. You could also try http://www.cobbtuning.com or PM "GOD" on this board and see if he can help ya.

Hope this helps you find what you need.
