    What is the best Oil FIlter on the Market

    What is the best Oil filter on the market that you can buy and what is the best Oil? I have heard of purple something or another but I cant recall the name?
    After the race the EVO driver asked "what was that noise coming from your car?" and I said "that was the sound of my brakes slowing down for you to catch up"

    as for the oil, i think you're talking about royal purple. i have no personal experience with it, but i've never heard a bad review.

    as for filters, i use WIX exclusively, although the high end purolators are nice too. i usully encourage people to steer clear of FRAM. otherwise, you're in good shape.

    Fram Tough Guard (Gray can) is the only decent filter from

    Purolator PureOne is an excellent filter
    Mobil 1 fitler is a modified PureOne filter, that's a bit better for more money.

    Oil:

    I remember reading from Royal Purple, it is a semi-synthetic oil...

    The best oil? I use Mobil oil myself

    A lot of people use Amsoil oil also, and do the extended oil changes.

    so according to the owners book I can use synthetic as long as it meets the specifications for petroleum, so my car has 1430 miles breakin on it and I want to change it now so should I use conventional or syn or partially synth oil ?
