Hope I got the right forum for this. I'm in the market for car ramps and a creeper. What does everybody else use, or stay away from. I want ramps that go fairly high and a creeper that can hold fat people. I'm 6'2", 300#.

I agree about the jack and jackstands, I always hated putting my car up on the ramps.

I'd agree. Floor jack and jack stands are the way to go. Get at least a 3 ton model.

i'm not sure u'll have a lot of room with the creeper unless u jack up the car real high. space was limited underneath for my arms but i didn't jack it up all the way. i'm 6'3" like 150lbs

Back to the topic... I use ramps for quick jobs like oil changes or a muffler swap. For anything involving long persiods of time under the car, I definately prefer jackstands. I feel a lot more comfortable supporting the 3200lbs over my head with cast iron and stamped steel than molded plastic. Plus, you can move around a lot more under the car if you have stands.
