Weird/annoying Sound.

It sounds like two metals scratching with other.

Something like KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~~ in very high notch. It's not very noticeable from inside, (well.. I did dynamat my door, floor and trunk) but when you open the window, it's VERY annoying. Especially when the sound is bounced back by a wall or something. It does not make sound when I'm standing still and going in a slow speed. It starts when I'm going 25+ mph. I sounds like something's scratching my rotor.

Anyone have any suggestion?

oh yeah.. I'm about 500 miles past the 30000 check up. I have to do that soon.

I think you already figured it out! Sounds like the brake pad wear indicator. 30k is quite a lot of miles on the stock pads.

30K isnt all that much. I have 30K on my pads and still have %50 of my pads left.

If it is the brake pads they are still under warrantee. Take it to the dealer and have them replaced for free.

I wanted a better brake pad anyway.

They won't replace the brake pads at 30k - that's normal wear and tear.

I just had my car at the dealer for the brakes clunking and they told me that if they were worn down to the wear indicator that they would replace them under the warrantee.

Its not what I expected either but I wasn't going to start argueing with them if it meant i would get new brake pads
