    Racers typically use the lightest wieght oil available, however, they're not usually concerned about warranty coverage of broken engine parts.

    I use 5W30 like the owner's manual suggests. You can't go wrong doing it their way.

    I put Mobil1 15W50 in for the summer drags at Bandimere. I felt it would offer better protection for the engine. I'm honestly not worried about the 3/1000ths of a second that I lost because of the heavier oil.
