Does anyone have any idea how to adjust remote trunk opener cable/assy?

whoa! I got the stock security system and have been using my key to open the trunk
how do I remotely open the trunk?!?

Here's the step by step directions:

1. Sit in the drivers seat.
2. Take your left hand off the wheel.
3. Extend it down in front of the drivers seat, near the door.
4. Fashion your index finger into a hook shape.
5. Pull directly up on the trunk release lever.
6. Straighten finger.

I think he meant opening it using the remote control of the security system. Not the remote "lever" control.

I'm just being an a$$ today. I don't think the stock alarm has the ability to pop the trunk.
