    Question Rattling Noise...

I get a slight rattling noise when I start from a full stop. Is this just one of the many hot plates (aka heat shields) protecting parts of the engine or does it have something to do with the transmission...?

It sounds like it is coming from the front of the car....somewhere directly in front of the steering column it seems like, but down. So it would almost make sense that it is something rattling in the engine or around the transmission... It only does this intermittently also...
