Incident Date June 8, 2003 Time 11:17:00 PM Division Falcon Shift III
TitleTraffic Accident Location 3400 Briargate Blvd
Summary Officers were dispatched on a one vehicle accident. Vehicle was traveling EB on Briargate at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle left approx 494 feet of tire marks before it struck a large tree. The car was wrapped around the tree at the driver's door. The driver was extracted from the vehicle and sustained life threatening injuries. The passenger was released from the hospital with minor injuries. Both occupants were wearing restraints. Alcohol was not involved.
