Headlights dim when compressor turns on

Hi All,

When my A/C compressor turns on and the radiator fans spin up, my headlights dim, as if the fans are drawing too much current. Is this normal? Could it be a short?

Yes it's normal for the WRX.

More load is put on the alternator, and electrical system, thus the lights dim. This is considered normal for all cars, some more than others.
