    Humming Noise and stalling

I have a 2003 WRX, whenever I am going between about 55-70 there is a humming noise coming from the passanger rear of the car. Also, every now and then and randomly when I am really getting on it sometimes it just stops pulling, like the car isn't even cranked, then if I keep the gas down it jerks like I'm pumping the clutch or something. I have no idea if anyone knows whats going on let me know!!

    Is the fuel pump stock?

Yes the fuel pump is stock, I hit a huge rock that came off of a truck in front of me and put I nice sized dent in the gas tank, don't know if that could have screwed it up or not. If it is the fuel pump, is there an upgrade that I should do in the process of replacing it?

The stock item is very reliable. I'd replace it with another stock pump unless I were to modify the car in a way that required a higher capacity fuel pump. See if the connections are loose or something first though. I assume you have gotten no CELs?
