Question 06'WRX multiple cylinder misfire at 3750 RPM

Any smart ones out there? Have a 2006 WRX that pulls cylinder misfire for 1,2,3 and 4 but ONLY when the tach reaches around 3750 RPM. Regardless of which gear you are in. You can reach 3600 and back off without pulling a CEL. If you try to work through it the tach flutters at 3750 and higher. A CEL will flash and then go out. If you continue driving at those RPM the light will continue to flash and EVENTUALLY set and the "cruise" light will then flash until you clear the ECU.
The process will repeat again at 3750 RPM.
Yes, this will happen if you rev to 3750 standing still.

In addition, the tach will misfire (flutter) at any RPM over 3750.

Checked: timing marks, changed crank sensor, changed plugs, swapped coil packs, and yes 3 full tanks of premium gas. Only swap was someone put a 2004 down pipe and cats. Up pipe is stock as well as the turbo.
** No other codes except an occasional "Emissions pressure sensor voltage high**

    Any help would be appreciated!!

Could it be a clogged fuel filter or crapped out pump?

I am not sure. It truly is frustrating.

I will pay the one with the ability to solve this issue.

    In addition: rechecked timing marks.

It just goes on a miss rampage at 3750 rpm and higher.

    Need a SMART TECH!

    Best regards.

Looks like the op posted this question twice. I just replied to the other thread, but I'll say basically the same thing here:

It sounds like your engine is going into limp mode. The tach fluttering/loss of power above 3750 rpm definitely sounds like limp mode to me. I think that's a reaction to the underlying problem, not an indication of the cause.

Pull all of the CEL codes you're getting. Also, do you have a way to read boost? If you can read that, it would give another indication of whether it is in limp mode.

    Question

    Misfires 1,2,3,4

Emissions control system pressure sensor (high)

Occasionally after driving, turning off and restarting...

there is a 5 second cranking period before it fires. Not all the time however..

    Help

No boost gauge to measure boost at this time..

Between the dealer saying " NEW ENGINE" to others without a clue... it truly is frustrating...
