    Debadging: Post surgery followup question..

I recently debadged my trunk (2002wrb). After removing the letters I cleaned the adhisive with goobgone and then washed and waxed (multiple times). It looks great, I'm happy.

I sadly can still see the subaru on the trunk if I look up close and in the proper light. I think it could be some sort of build up around the letters, from either dirt or products the previous owner useds.

I was wondering if using a claybar on the trunk might remove whatever is there? If not any other suggestions?

    Thanks for any input.

Well considering your car is 5 years old, that's probably why you see the letters so clearly. Maybe the clay bar will take care of it.

+1 claybar helped mine out but there's still a hint in certain light.

Buffer it out. I recently debadged my rex and the buffer worked wonders. Well to an extent
