    Cleaning Alloys

I'd like to find out what some of the good cleaning products are for cleaning the BBS alloys on the STi - never had such a nice car !! I usually used to wash my old POS's alloys with soap and water.

    Thank You

Be careful what you choose as a lot of wheel cleaners on the market are harmful to the finish/clear coat.

I use the same wash I use on the rest of the car. Do NOT clean the wheels first if you use a bucket and always use a seperate sponge/brush/whatever on the wheels. Brake dust can harm your paint finish.

I also use wheel wax. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/.../wheel_wax.jsp

It works well. I can literally wipe the dust off with a towel.
