    Radiator leak

My friend hit a little bird on the thruway, and now there's a light "hiss" coming from the radiator where the bird hit. Upon closer inspection, you can feel air getting pushed out through the leak. Is the car still drivable (in the short term), and how much does a new radiator and install cost? His wrx is an '02. Thx!

absolutely do NOT drive the car..as far as the repair goes your prob looking at 300 for the part and another 1.5 to 2 hours labor to install

The radiator isn't exposed and does not contain air. Are you sure your friend didn't get a hole in the A/C instead? How could a bird have hit the radiator on a stock car?
