    weird problem

    after putting on my magnaflow exhaust on my 05 wrx ive noticed that after running for a little while, sometimes my gas pedal gets really soft and alot less responsive to how much im pushing down on it ... sometimes its nice and stiff and others its like nothings there.. its hard to explain but i cant think of why this is happening.. could be something stupid.. ive noticed my cat converter is pretty stinky too.. only other parts on my car are k&n typhoon intake and greddy bov... any ideas???

    seems like its from the intake and BOV, they may be messing up the way the PCM controls the fuel delivery. also the stinky smell is your cat dying (probably from running rich with the BOV) and that's an expensive thing to do as cats cost upwards of $1000 to replace. i hate to have the normal response but ditch the intake and BOV...

    would getting a different MAF sensor help?

    nope, i bet the MAF is perfect, it's just relying on crap input cuz of the intake and BOV
