Trunk pop help?

Ok, so i have a 06 tr...if it matters

The other day my trunk popper stopped working....havent done anything that would have affected it. When you pull the lever up, you dont feel anything engage, it just pulls up no problem.

It opens fine with the key, but its annoying to have to use the key, when i should be able to just pull the lever.

Any ideas?

Open the trunk with the key, on the lock mechanism on the trunk, there is a lever on the side of it the mechanism. Make sure its not set to cancel. That cancels out the release on the inside of your car.

what hans if you have a CF trunk like i do and you think thats what happended ???? do i have to take my rear seats out to unlock it

Im having the same problem with my truck, it wont open from the inside lever. everything is working, i checked the mechnism lever and it was fine. (not On Cancel)...
