    white exhaust valves

a friend of mine bought a new exhaust manifold on his 02 WRX, when we were replacing it i noticed that his car has white exhaust valves, as far as i know this means that the car is running lean. Could this cause serious damage?

The car has no mods exept BOV and MBC
Is it possible because of the MBC?

It is probably lean from the BOV. The MBC probably doesnt help either.

Search around for BOV's and MBC's. On this site, there are TONS of posts / threads about them, mostly saying how bad they are...

Good luck with your search and with your buddy's rex!!
