Check Engine light CEL

Had my check engine light come on and I was wondering how your would diagnos this yourself? Or do you have to take it somewhere. Car seems to drive fine? Subaru just replaced some fuel lines under the intake manifold but I dont think that would have anything to do with it? Any Ideas

go to autozone and have them pull the code......bring that number back here and search......good luck

You must have a national auto parts store somewhere near you! Hmm, how about the obvious, is your gas cap screwed on tight?? Get the code pulled if that doesn't work. Go to the dealer if you have to, but get it pulled.
