Everything on my car is stock, the obd-II said it has something to do with my cat. maybe it is bad? maybe that is why i am getting an oil smell or leak somewhere.. how do i fix this?
Everything on the car is stock.. you think I need a new sensor? its a used car in great condition..42K miles on it. I went to the subie dealership and it wasn't covered under warranty..
how much is a o2 sensor
is it under the 5 year powertrain warranty?

Well yea a diagnostic fee. Your 2003 might be close to not having a warranty for much longer.
If your cabin smells (sulfur smell?) and you are throwing a DP-02 sensor code then id guess you need a new cat.
But im not a mechanic so take it to the dealer to get fixed or your local Subaru tech.

I lift uped the car today, I saw engine leak near by the axles..I think the oil seal is broken or gaskets..either that or transaxle.. anyways.. its covered under the subaru warranty book...its says 5yrs or 60,000 miles in which I am covered for both...![]()

is it covered in the warranty...i think it is.. oil seals and gaskets powertrain or engine.
if its leaking oil, could that come from the UP?
