    I have a 2003 subaru wrx with a manual transmission. I just pulled it out of storage and needless to the say the battery needs replaced...its the factory battery.

    I have a big audio system so im going to purchase an optima red top battery but cant seem to find the one that will fit my car. I did a search and also checked optimas website but they said there is nothing compatabile with my car.

    I know people have put optimas in wrx's before, i just dont know which one and what modification may be needed.

    You can opt to buy the D35 Red Top or Yellow top from Optima.
    They are a reverse pole battery applicable to our cars.

    Yellow Top PN- 9040-218
    Red Top PN- 9020-164
