I am about to take my 2005 Subaru WRX, with 5spd manual in for the 30,000 mile service. I don't use my dealer for service, I go to a very competent indipendant garage that specializes in imports, specificaly BMW and SAAB. As of right now, I am their only WRX customer, they are investigating (as am I) the possible bennifits of switching to the Redline Powerpack for my 30,000 mile service. I have read mixed feeling and reviews on synthetics for the WRX gears. Does anyone have any experiance with this product. Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I have been searching for this forever, and cannot find anything on the specific formulation of the powerpack. I am in Ohio, and the cold winter we have had, has made shifting very difficult at time. Any other 30k service tips will be appreciated as well.
