Intercooler sprayer took a crap...

if i hit the button for the sprayer you cant even hear the spray pump come on...yes it has water in it and no i didnt run it dry and burn it out lol im thinking the pump just went out OR maybe a fuse? does anyone know which fuse would control that?

look in the service manual to can also be the switch went dead

the switch can go dead??? is it not just a basic connection switch? or do you mean a shat connection where the wires connect to the switch?

the switch it self can go dead... pull it out and check it first b4 you do anything else then check for a burnt out fuse then assume its the water pump

2005 sti...would the manual indicate wich fuse it is?

nozzles are clogged.

Same thing happened to me. If you use windshield washer fluid it can build up this crust inside the nozzle and clog it.

1. Disconnect hose from nozzle.
2. have someone hit the button
3. If water pumps out then its the nozzle
4. you can either buy new ones $9 each
5. or I just soaked mine in some CLR- or other mineralizing agent.

If water doesnt squirt out then it could be something else. But that is what happened to me.

Well I bought th factory STI nozzles and hooked up my own. Needed to run the windshield washer fluid out so I could put in an 80/20 water alcohol mix.

checked nozzles....clean
monkeyed with switch a little....nothing
checked fuses....good (believe the windsheild washer fuse uses the same one as the IC Pump?
i think my pump just went to shat but ill make an appointment tomorrow morning and see wtf it is....btw the lid on the ic sprayer states water only! must be a reason
