    Radiator leak

I got a radiator leak on my subaru wrx . Its an 02. Ok, theres the plastic top of the radiator that is clamped on by the aluminum part. Right by the main hose, by 3 or 4 little clams, it will shoot out vapor when it gets hot. Do they fix these problems at shops or am I going to need a new radiator? I know its knot cracked.

try calling a shop or just stop by and ask them look at it quick (they should do it for free if they want your business), they would know the best

    What happened

Do they just clamp it more? Like with more pressure? Because I know theres a gasket in between..

Hmm i dont tihnk any shops here would do it free....and the closest subaru shop is far away lol.

Ok heres what happened. I start the car in the coldest day here in chicago. I start driving 5 minutes later. The heater wont heat.lol.... So i drive about 3 miles and the heater works, then it stops working again.... and 2 minutes later i see vapor commin from my hood. I stop and theres anifreeze everywhere. I let everything dry up and started it up. I noticed that the leak was from the radiator. Now my dad told me that the antifreeze has more water than anifreeze. And that it was frozen inside and that caused the pump to make so much pressure and bust the radiator.
And he said the thermostat probably got stuck too.

So im going to replace the thermostat and fix the rad. Anyone else have any ideas? And has anyone ever replaced the thermostat?
