Why are there three dents?
The panels are easily dented. I figured this out when I noticed I left a barely visible depression on the same panel just from cleaning off the gunk left over from S U B A R U when I debadged.

Also small dimples in the right front fender. Around $2,000 in damage to get pushed out from a snowy road.
Very distressing how weak the body panels are. I'll never let someone touch my car again.

Yeah, I put a small dent in my front fender just by pushing on it lightly.
Still, nothing beat my Integra for body panel sh|ttiness. You could look at it the wrong way and there'd be a hole in the sheetmetal. A girl leaned on my car once and literally folded in the entire panel behind the driver's side door. She wasn't a heiffer, either.
"Did you sleep well?"
"No, I made a couple of mistakes."

Most of my friends only have two hands...so I guess I'd only have two dents? What are these from...you left us hanging.....three huge dents, we aren't sure how they got there.
Before even turning that into your insurance company, I suggest you give paintless dent removal a try at those dents in the back. It's amazing what they can do.

A couple of responses. I have no idea how they got 3 huge dents with only two hands. I imagine they moved their hands when pushing. I was behind the wheel. Also I did go to a paintless dent remover first. They said they might be able to get 85 to 90% improvement for $450. But I want it to be perfect so I went to my insurance. Just came back from the insurance estimator who said that it could be fixed without replacing the gate (I'm very skeptical of this). That whole back end is so sculpted and I really want it perfect for both myself and re-sale. Plus there's another minor dent to the othe side. Anyways, I'm taking it to an autobody shop in Seattle and see what they say. I may buck up the extra for a new gate if the insurance doesn't come through.
The dude who pushed my car must have been more of a bull than a heifer.
At what point do you just stop and say "hey dude I think I might be denting your ride". Those are big dents!![]()
They are pretty bad dents, but I can't imagine a PDR place wanting to charge that much. I had a pretty good (golf ball sized) dent on my lift gate and they charged me $40 and fixed a little wave on the top of the lift gate that he noticed with his light for free. They are perfect too. You might want to check with one more PDR shop.
