I just recently took out my MBC from TurboXS realizing how bad it was for the car after doing research on here. Now my dilemna is the tuner didn't leave me with the original parts so I decided to go with jerry rig. I got a 1/4 vaccuum T-fitting and obviously plugged up the hoses. I am only getting 5 pounds of boost. I know I need the restrictor but dont know what else. Could anyone help me get my boost back to stock levels please?

Where can I buy that from and where does it go ? How do I see if it is stuck open just take it off and look at the valve?
You need to go look at http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31625 .

I called the dealer and ordered the parts.... I just wanna make sure I ordered the right ones. I ordered the T-fitting, the hose coming from the T to the compressor nipple, and the hose coming from the T to the wastegate. The BCM hose was left unmolested by the tuner shop, I will never put an MBC on my car again. Thanks for the help guys.

Make sure you put the vacume hoses on in the right place... First... small vac hose with restrictor orifice goes from turbo nipple to top of T, the second small vac hose goes from top of T to wastegate actuater, then the long vac hose goes from bottom of T to top inlet of FBC solenoid. That should be it.![]()

The FBC is the Same as the BCM right? Factory boost controller and or Boost control module right ?
I can't seem to find a picture of what the stock set up is suppose to look like but I looked at my buddies 2002 wrx and his has a restrictor from the BCM to the hose that connects to the T at the bottom I am so confused. I also can't seem to find parts on the internet to replace those hoses either.
There's a pic of the boost control vacume lines in my photobucket site in the "info" album... Did you read the info on how "the factory boost control works" in the Cobb link I gave you.?...

Is the 05 set up different because my buddy has a brass t-fitting and the factory sent me a little plastic black one not sure. Also the only restrictor pill is the one that is from the compressor to the t-fitting right? Everything else I can manufacture on my own correct?![]()
Everything is important...because its measured airflow, to control the boost. You need everything factory, ID size and length of the vacume hoses can even make a difference, But the most important is the restrictor orriface in the right place, then T and 1/8 inline connector that's there on ;02 '03 for shure don't know about the other years.
