    Banging noise from ABS/calipers when hard braking?

    When i do a quick dead stop(i would push the brake pedal all the way in to lock up the brakes) in my 05wrx around 30/40 mpr, either the front or rear brake would make a loud banging sound, i can feel it on the brake pedal, it feels like the ABS kicked in for just a half second instead of pulsing, but it makes a loud banging sound.

    Anyone has experienced this? Thanks.

    Subaru has a TSB I believe for the ABS computer. Have you had yours done?

    The wrx's do have alot of ABS complainants kicking on/off at odd times.
    0-60 faster then your first sexual experience.

    did you break the brakes in ? or do u have any brake mods ?

    Bang Noise from hard braking

    The rotors are stoptech with axixs pads, braided lines and motul fluid.

    Check all your brake mounting brackets, and caliper slide pins, and check to see about the service bulletin.
