    quick 05 wrx alarm question

    Hey guys/gals:

I have a simple, quick question. You know when you lock your car with the keyless thingy and it makes the "beep" noise. I've noticed over the past year that beep has slowly become muted. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I know that if you hold the buttons down in some order you can actually turn off the beeping noise so that's not the problem, i've done that before.
My issue is when I lock or unlock my car, sometimes it beeps sometimes it doesn't. Is there a fuse or something i can check? Anyone else have this problem or know an easy solution? It sucks cause when it doesn't beep i have to go back and make sure my car is locked.

    Thanks!
    Stage II and loving it!

I have the same problem. I think it relates to the pattern or number of times the button on the remote is depressed. Because I unlock the drivers door, then the remaining doors, or hold the buttons too long, I think this disables the audible beep.
