Was hearing quotes around 600-700$ for dealer so I decided to do it myself.
Got all fliuds done at Oil Can Henry's for 75.00.
Changed spark plugs, PCV valve, and fuel filter (cleaned K&N filter).
Spent about 60.00 dollars on parts and flex head spark plug socket. (8.00$) Went very well. To those who are considering doing this it pretty easy with a little wrench time under your belt and a clear head.
Putting the intercooler back on was the hardest part, and not too bad when you figure out what the hard point on the turbo inlet hose is for.
To do the Spark plugs you only need a flex head 5/8'' socket and a 3'' extension. Take off the battery, washer tank and airbox/scoop and your ready to go with those tools.
The fuel filter was very easy. I followed the "pull you fuel pump relay and start car a few times method" and only had about 1.5 oz of fuel come out of the lines.
PCV valve was easy. Take of the bolts (2) on each side of the IC and the 3 small ones that hold the tubes on the front and the two bolts that attach the BOV, then loosen the hose clamps on the hose in front and underneath and it comes right out (with STI strut bar as well).
I did brake the T-Fitting from the Boost guage I installed; easy fix...
Took about 4.5 hours. Car is very happy.
