    A/C clutch sqealing

As the title states my A/C clutch is sqealing like a 13 yr old girl being grounded from the phone. So everytime the A/c kicks in is makes alot of noise. Any ideas on how to fix? Replace compressor? inexpensive fix?

    thanks

Are you sure it's not the belt?

mine did that. I had the belt tightened and it went away.

however, my AC compressor failed soon after, so I don't know if one had anything to do with the other. It had about 60k miles on it when this happened.
