    Torque Wrench with Swivel

Does anyone know how a swivel or universal joint affects using a torque wrench? I mean, if I use a swivel, does it affect how much torque I'm torquing something down? Is it significant? I've searched all over the net but can't find much about it. I know when you use crow foot adapters you need to recalculate the torque wrench values.

    Thanks.

I suppose you could just test it with an easily accessilble bolt. Torque it down with the swivel joint, then take it off and check it without it? Just an idea.

Yes I'll probably try this. But then it probably makes a difference depending on what angle you torque it at as well.
