When was the last time you checked the air in your spare?

I came out of work yesterday and saw my LR tire was completely flat.

Luckily I check the air in my spare tire regularly.

When did you last check yours? You never know when you will need it.

Yeah I hardly ever check mine I really should more often.


Mercedes have a deflated spare and air pump so that you don't have to worry about it. More companies should do that because I bet very few people checks their spare regularly.

That is actually a good idea to check the spare regularly. Fortunately, I currently have self sealing tires and my car has a pump in the trunk. Unfortunately, self seal tires only work if the hole is NOT in the side wall of the tire.

Flats always suck, but the timing was perfect. The tires were well worn and I had four new ones waiting to be mounted.

That would be correct on my Charger. However, when I said it is a good idea, I meant in the general sense. Additionally, I own more than one car.
